MUSIC

Music is one medium of art expression, music reflects the cultural community supporters. In the music contained values ​​and norms that are part of the process of enculturation culture, whether in the form of formal or informal. Music itself has a distinctive shape, both from the structural and type in culture. The same thing happened to music in the Malay culture.
Music is: the science or art of crafting or tone of voice suggested, combination and temporal relationships to produce a composition (voice) having a balance and cohesion, tone or voice that is structured in such a way that it contains rhythms, songs and harmony (especially those that can produce sounds it).

Based on the above opinion, the writer can conclude that music can also be referred to as media art, which most people express creativity and artistic expression through sounds or sound. Therefore, the music is very universal sense, depending on how people play it and enjoy it.Art music is a spark expression of feeling or thoughts that are regularly issued in the form of sound. That said, the sound (noise) is the most basic elements of music. Sounds good music is the result of the interaction of three elements: rhythm, melody, and harmony. Rhythm is the sound settings at a time, long, short and tempo, and this gives a distinctive character to each musical. Combination of pitch and rhythm will produce a particular melody. Furthermore, a good combination of rhythm and melody sound spawned the harmony.Music includes the oldest human art. It could even be said, there is no history of human civilization passed without music, including the history of Malay civilization. In Malay society, the art of music is divided into vocal music, instrumental, and a combination of both. In the combined music, sound accompaniment instrument serves as vocal or dance. Musical instruments developed in the Malay community include: cymbals, tetawak, nobat, trumpet, improbable, kompang, harp, marwas, drums, tambourine, flute, fiddle, drum, gong, flute, harp, violin and accordion. Musical instruments in the rhythm and melody of its own produce different with other musical instruments.
